Refund Policy

Try Before You Buy

All FireDaemon software products are available for purchase on the FireDaemon web site. All the software products are available for download (with the exception of the OEM variants) and are fully functional. We provide a 30-day free trial period to let you fully evaluate the software product to ensure it meets your needs prior to making a purchase decision. None of our software requires registration to enable its full functionality. During your trial period, our support staff are available to assist in installation and configuration via email, ticket or telephone. We strongly recommend that all customers download, install, and test the trial version of any FireDaemon product prior to making a purchase.

 

Refunds Policy Post Purchase

After a cleared payment on the purchase of one of our products occurs, you will receive an email with the serial number required to unlock the FireDaemon software. Once this information is emailed to you, no refund will be given. This policy is in place since it would be impossible for you to return your registered version of our software. We cannot issue a refund for any FireDaemon OEM product under any circumstances given its licensing model. Please take advantage of the 30-day trial before you complete your purchase.

 

Refund Under Extenuating Circumstances

In rare instances and only within 30 days of purchase, if due to technical difficulties or platform incompatibilities the software will not function, we may, at our discretion, issue a refund minus our order processing and banking fees (up to 25% of the purchase price). In such instances, we require that you provide enough information for us to positively identify your purchase transaction (e.g., order number, your company name, date of transaction, purchase code, number of licenses purchased, etc.). If we are able to positively identify your order, and if your request is made within 30 days of purchase, you must submit to us a letter of destruction of software on your company letterhead before we will process the refund. For resellers who do not cancel the maintenance subscriptions upon receiving the notifications and do get charged, there is a 50% processing and banking fee for maintenance renewal refunds. FireDaemon is not responsible for lost, delayed, or misdirected mail or email, delays for downloading, or other communication system delays.

 

Acceptance of this Policy

It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with this refund policy. By placing an order for any of our products, you indicate that you have read this refund policy and that you agree with and fully accept the terms of this refund policy. If you do not agree with or fully accept the terms of this refund policy, we ask that you do not place an order with us. Please contact us should you have any questions regarding our refund policy.

Privacy Policy

 

We respect your privacy online. As part of the software registration process and when dealing with Technical and/or Sales Support you may be asked to disclose information about yourself (including credit cards), your company, your computer systems and operating systems.

 

Our Policy

We have a zero tolerance attitude towards spam and all forms of online abuse. Consequently, any personal information that you supply us with will be kept completely private and confidential. Under no circumstances will it be distributed to any third party for any purpose under any circumstances.

 

Exceptions

It may be necessary for us to email you to advise you of product updates or product faults and issues. You will be given the opportunity at that time to opt-out and never receive any further email correspondence in any form from us ever again.

 

Information About You That We Capture

All information that we capture and store complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Act (UK), 2018. We capture the following information:

  • Any information that you provide at time of purchase with the exception of your credit card details. Credit card information is retained by Cleverbridge. We have no access to your credit card details except the type of card you used.

  • Your email address and name should you contact Technical Support or Sales or subscribe to one of our mailing lists.

  • Any information that you might provide us with in regard to the applications you are using in conjunction with FireDaemon software product and the operating system upon which you have installed FireDaemon software products.
